I hate making New Year Resolutions!! Well, of course, they always had the best of intentions, but they never last. Goals and dreams that just fell by the wayside once the year kicked in and life took over.
Yes! I actually cried in Yoga today. Well let me backtrack a bit, it was my first lesson. The class was only an hour long, but I was counting the minutes until it finished. I was biting back the tears, not from pain but frustration; at myself!
As part of the December Reflections 2018, one prompt was Orange. Well I must admit, I was a little worried and unsure what photo to use.
I bite my nails! There I said it, at 46 this has to be my worst habit. I’ve been a habitual biter since I was very young; I remember biting the skin all around my nails until they looked like stubs.
I’ve been on this earth now for over 45 years and I can honestly say one of the hardest things to do is make friends…well not entirely true; making them is one thing, keeping them is another. As the saying goes “People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.”

Growing up in a different country to my own home, part time work was never part of the equation. The idea of doing a summer job during the long school holidays or once I’d finished school was not an option.
